Stake Painting Party

Lake stake painting party scheduled for October 21 at the groomer shed is canceled.  The NW Relic Riders Vintage Snowmobile club plans to meet in small groups to prepare the stakes needed for the upcoming snowmobile season.  

 

The first lake stake meeting will be Wednesday, October 21 from 1:00-4:00 at Bruce McMillin's shop, 11608 Mosquito Brook Road, Hayward.  Our plan is to gather safely, wear masks and social distance.  We will be limiting the number of volunteers to less than 10.

Ride to McMillin's Deer Lot on the Ridge. Take trail #31 from the south or trail #77 from the north to Mosquito Brook Rd (snowmobiles allowed) then to 11608N Mosquito Brook Road, Hayward, WI. The bonfire is located up on the hill behind Bruce & Susan's house.

Open fire and lunch from 11am-1pm 

Bloody Mary's, soda, beer, chips, brats, hotdogs and venison burgers provided! Will also have 50/50 drawing and trivia!!

3rd Annual 100-Mile Vintage Challenge Ride

Challenge yourself and your sled on the 100-mile ride in the beautiful north woods!

All sleds welcome. Limited to 50 vintage (1991 and older). So register early!

Registration 7:30 am at Flat Creek Eatery

Ride 8:30am to at least 4:30 pm

$25 entry fee includes a t-shirt, lunch and opportunity to win prizes.

Tow sled and rescue trailer will be available.

Sign up starts at 9:00 am and ride at 10:00 am The ride will be 30+ miles with 3 stops. Includes tow sleds, gas, oil, games, high/low poker, 50/50, and trivia!

Meet at the Casino 10:30 and leave at 10:45 am.

  • 1st stop: Riverbend Bar and Grill 11:15 am...on the bus Noon  (some out of town members will board the bus here.)

  • 2nd stop: Wobblin Duck(downtown Spooner) 12:15 pm....on the bus 1:00 pm.

  • 3rd stop: The Prime (lunch) 1:15 pm....on the bus 2:45 pm

  • 4th stop: Twin Oaks 3:00 pm ....on the bus  4:00 pm 

Stop back at Riverbend to drop off some members and then to the Sevenwinds Casino.

Annual Meeting & Goodbye to Winter Dinner

After the meeting, we will have a celebratory Goodbye to Winter dinner. Dinner will be from the menu at your own expense. It will be a fun time to share our snowmobiling highlights!

First stop will be: 11:15am @Tony's Riverside, 2nd stop 12:30pm @ Twin Oaks (lunch) + an Award presentation, 3rd stop 2:15pm @ Wolf Point, last stop 3:30pm @Nelson Lake Landing (award presentation)

 

Back to the Casino 4:45pm  Larger % of Trivia will be music and movies.

 

Remember if you haven't got a "over 55" membership card (free) from Namekagon Transit, you can download an app and/or stop at their office south of the Fairgrounds on Hwy B. Cost $1 each boarding or with 55 and older card 50 cents. Life just keeps getting better and better!

Classic Sled Round Up

The Classic Sled Round Up will be held on Sunday, May 30 from 7:00am until 3:00pm at the St. Germain Town Park, located at the intersection of Hwy 70 West & Hwy. 155 St. Germain, WI. This event will feature vintage snowmobile displays and one of the best swap meets in the Midwest.

 

Swap spaces are $20.00 for a truck and two place trailer, $30.00 for a truck and four place trailer and $40.00 for larger rigs at the discretion of the HOF. We will also be drawing the winning raffle ticket for our beautiful 1995 Ski-Doo Mach Z at 3:00pm.
